Here it is! My finished sweater for my luvin' the mommyhood KAL! I am so excited. It's beautiful. I want to live in it. I want to make one in every color. I want to wear it to bed even. When can we have some cold weather?

Thanks Jane Richmond for this awesome pattern!

I love the feel of the Madelinetosh Tosh Vintage. It's so squishy, so soft, so beautiful to look at. It's hard for me to not boast about how great I think this sweater turned out. Not too shabby for my first adult sweater. I'll give Jane the credit!

Here are some adjustments I made to the pattern:
I added a TON of length to the body and arms. I made the decreases begin after my bust and increased right after my waist. I did 7 rows for the neck ribbing, 13 for the bottom and 10 for the sleeves to make them in porportions to each other. When I picked up the sleeves I added four extra stitches, 2 on which I K2tog on the next round and then had two extra until I reached the place where I began my sleeve decreases. I don't think the extra two made a difference at all. I'm not that great at filling in the holes in garments so if anyone has some tricks please let me know! When I blocked it it grew quite a bit. I got nervous and so I put it in the dryer to shrink it back up. I think after I give it it's next wash I'll lay it flat to dry but not block it out so much. Jane's pattern was so well written I just made a few adjustments according to what I thought fit better as I went along. I made the size 34 but I'm wondering if my gauge was off because I feel like the sweater has a smaller fit. Or maybe I'm just bigger than I thought I was! Anyway, LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!!
